BOROLUX

We provide leading solutions to Agriculture

Borolux as Solubor Boron is a white or colorless crystalline powder, containing 20% Boron. It is presented in minute particles (<75 microns), which increases its solubility.

Borolux provides a much higher concentration of boron up to 68.6% B2O3, compared to the 56.8% maximum provided by Boric Acid.

Borolux (Boron 20%) is a very crucial and important supplement that plays a key role in a diverse range of plant functions including cell wall formation and stability, maintenance of structural and functional integrity of biological membranes, movement of sugar or energy into growing parts of plants, and pollination and seed set. Borolux also helps in effective nitrogen fixation and nodulation in legume crops.

Boron deficiency results in stunted development and death of meristematic growth points. In many cases, it can also result in less root elongation, less flowers and flower/fruit abortion without the visible symptoms mentioned earlier.

As such, Boron availability is very crucial for profitable farming and its importance cannot be under emphasized.

It is recommended to draw samples from young leaves. Accepted Boron levels in dried leaf tissue should range from 25 to 75 ppm. A soil application of Boron is recommended if leaves contain less than 25 ppm Boron in crops such as Sugar Beets, Potatoes, Sunflower, Soybeans, etc.

Borolux can be applied as both, soil and foliar applications. Due to its very minute size (<75 microns), it is easily absorbed by the plant where it is required most.

Because, it is required in small quantity, it is important to deliver Boron as evenly as possible across the field. Traditional fertilizer blends containing Boron struggle to achieve uniform nutrient distribution.
